Driver coaching · Samuel Harrison
“Why would I
need a coach?”
Because seat time on its own does not make you quicker. It makes your existing habits permanent.
Most drivers lose the same two tenths in the same three corners, every lap of every weekend, and have no way of knowing it. My job is to find them, and then to hold you to the fix until it is second nature.

Who it’s for
Who I work with
01
First licence
ARDS test preparation and the first few race weekends, so you arrive knowing what to expect.
02
Club racers
For drivers who have stopped improving and cannot work out where the time has gone.
03
Junior drivers
Structured development for drivers with ambitions beyond club level, and the discipline to match.
04
Track and sim
Faster, smoother and safer on a track day, or serious about your rig at home.
05
Parents
An honest read on where a young driver stands and what the next step should be.
Services
How I can help
Take one, or build a programme from several. Open a line for the detail.
I am with you for the weekend: sighting laps, every session debriefed, changes agreed between runs, and someone in your ear on the grid. Practice, qualifying and race are treated as three different jobs, because they are.
Process
How it works
Step 01
Conversation
What you drive, where you race, and what you actually want out of the season. Free, and no obligation after it.
Step 02
Baseline
A first session together, in the car or the sim, with video and data from the start. Nothing changes until I have seen you drive.
Step 03
The work
Targeted sessions on the two or three things that will make a difference, rather than everything at once.
Step 04
Review
Notes, footage and clear actions after every session, so the gains hold when I am not there.
In their words
“Samuel helped me return to racing after a 30 year break, into the Historic Formula 3 series. He is patient, very helpful and knowledgeable and was an enormous help to me. I would not hesitate to recommend Samuel to anyone new to racing or experienced drivers looking for improvement. Also, he’s a great help with car set ups!!”

Track record
Still racing
I coach the same weekends I race. Everything I ask of a driver is something I am working on myself, in cars from current GT3 machinery to 1960s sports racers.

For current drivers
The coaching portal
Drivers I work with get their own area: session video, data files, circuit notes and the actions from every debrief, all in one place between events.
Access is set up after your first session.

Let’s talk
Tell me what you drive and what you want out of the season. Rates depend on the format and the circuit, so I’ll come back to you with a proposal rather than a price list.
